Shared components, grounded in the application
I connected interface work in the register with reusable components in Riihi. Working on both helped me relate Design System decisions to the application’s needs.

My role
The application and its Design System
I worked on the register application and helped develop Riihi with the wider design team. My contribution included component design, Storybook documentation, Sketch library structure and technical support for designers.
02 · Design and implementation
A shared reference for the team
I created Storybook documentation and began restructuring the Sketch libraries. I worked with designers and frontend developers to connect design assets, component behaviour and implementation.
03 · What the work enabled
A more practical shared foundation
My contribution brought application design and Riihi closer together through shared components, documentation and library work. These provided references for designers and developers continuing work on the register.
I collaborated with Jaakko Ahonen, Piia Seppälä and Onna Luostarinen.
